Heyem Merek has run away from her former life. Her childhood, spent in poverty and her teenaged years in military correction. She is well educated and proud of her achievements. If only her identical twin sister, Alexand would allow her to forget about her past, completely. Things would be a lot less complicated and painful. (Artwork on the wall in drawing 2: by Frida Kahlo, “My Nurse and I.” 1937) This story also features Samuel, Ancille and Anastasia Merevija. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

About The Characters
The blurb for Unbound Boxes Limping Gods
(Set in 4041, the first book begins on Christmas Island, Japan.) Alexand Merek is a woman who treasures "Bad Things," and delights in music. She has done something stupid, placing those she loves in danger. Women like her are not welcome in the ordinary world, where women who play piano and dance with wives are placed into, "The Bad Thing Box." Alexand must fight to bring her lost family back together to save them from an unimaginable fate. (If you would like to see this book published, please press the follow button. The writer gives life to a story, but the reader keeps it alive.)This is for you Dad.
My stories and my world are dedicated to you, Dad. You died before I was old enough to know who you were. I will try to find you in my stories, to go to places far away from this world, to search for you. Maybe one day I'll know you again. Until then I'll keep writing. I'll never forget you. Argh – you made me cry again.
I know how much you like Heyem, Chantal! LOL (This story explains a bit about why she’s so mean to Alex in the first novel!!)
A bit self-important, are we?
Oh yes, Heyem’s very impressed with herself and her achievements. She’s a treasure to write about though!
“I suppose they need guidance from a responsible and successful adult.”
Similar to what my sister would say.
That’s so funny!
Hee!Hee!
I think I am the only one in my family, who understands her fully.
Ah, well I say everyone has a voice, and it’s the differences that make people interesting, and that extends to real and imagined people alike!
Well said…I totally agree!
